This ingredient can help treat wrinkle problems as it can reduce its visibility into your skin and helps improve your skin tone too. It contains lactic acid, malic acid, glycolic and tartaric acid but if you have a very sensitive skin you can use products with mild ingredients like polyhydroxy acids or better yet consult it with your dermatologist on what’s best for your skin type.

This is also like vitamin A. Skincare products that includes retinoids and retinol which is also a form of vitamin A can aid the skin to treat signs of aging problems like fine lines and wrinkles. Because vitamin A helps repair skin issues due to sun damage and helps build more production of collagen. But be aware that products with retinoids can be more sensitive to sunlight. So you can only apply skincare products with retinoids at night time and make sure you always wear sunscreen during the day to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.

An important note: This is not recommended for pregnant women.

Antioxidants

This is the number one ingredient that should be present in every anti-aging skincare product. It is found in plants that includes flavonoids and polyphenols.

Antioxidants can fight the free radicals that cause damage to the skin such as the signs of aging that we worry about as we age. This can help improve the production of collagen to restore the skin elasticity which can cause skin sagging which is the start of wrinkles and fights skin pigmentations, under eye dark spots, fine lines that makes you look dull and old.
